Bed base for 26 stone customer.

I am looking for a new mattress and am currently tipping the scales at 26 stone so I’m considering the Resilience 1 or 2 mattress. (Mainly leaning towards the Resilience 1 at the moment. My query though is with the bed bases you supply. I would like to buy a new base with my mattress but I always find myself reinforcing other bed bases within a few months. Most platform bases I’ve seen are just cardboard stapled over thin bits of softwood so I avoid them if at all possible. Can you confirm that your bases are strong enough to handle a 26 stone customer for the life of the mattress or would it be better for me to build my own solid bed base?

The Resilience 1 mattress is a firm density core mattress with a soft laygel topper allowing you to sink into the topper for comfort before reaching the core mattress which will give you the support you require.
Our platform topped and contemporary bases may not be appropriate for you, however, we do make an ottoman base, which is much more sturdy and robust and may provide a more long lasting solution for you.
