Bending a mattress
Is it possible to bend your mattresses slightly so that it will go around a bend at the bottoms of our stairs ?
We have an elderly Bed Company Wales mattress at present (now taken over by Savoir) coil sprung mattress which came in the same way.
The Artisan natural standard double medium is the mattress we are looking at.

Thanks for your question.
The Artisan range of mattresses, having Calico Encased Pocket Springs, in the construction have much more movement in them than our Origins range of mattresses.
As such our Artisan range of mattresses will bend to roughly 90 degrees but no more than that.
The Artisan Naturals is very much a true medium feeling model in the top layers providing a slight sink but not too much. It has the benefit of having 85% natural fillings and comes with a 10 year guarantee as standard.
