Comparison between Artisan mattress and John Lewis

Most Bed Manufacturers base their spring count on a kingsize mattress.  There are only so many springs that you can put into a kingsize and the maximum is 2000 so any mattress that says there are more than this, may compromise on the fillings.
 
Our Artisan Naturals mattress contains 85% natural fillings on top of calico encased pocket springs which are the best springs that you can use in a mattress.  The overall fillings which are on top of the springs gives the mattress a more medium comfort making the mattress feel neither too soft nor too firm.  John Lewis also say that their mattress has more or less the same comfort feel.   Unfortunately they do not specify the exact gsm in respect of the upholstery layers so I am unable to make a comparison.  GSM stands for ‘Grams per square metre’. It refers to the actual weight of a particular upholstery component used within the mattress. It is a measurement used by all mattress manufacturers when purchasing upholstery and used as a basis to establish the quality of a particular mattress.
 
In order for me to recommend the correct spring tension for the mattress, I would need to know body weights of the people who will be sleeping on the mattress as it is the springs which give you the support.
