Thank you for your question. The Emma mattress is a memory foam mattress that requires body heat and pressure to be able to mould to you. This means that the lighter your body weight the firmer the mattress can feel which can be too firm and cause pressure pains in the shoulders and hips of side sleepers.
 

 
The Origins Pocket 1500 has a true medium level of comfort in the manmade upholstery layers. This is suitable for all sleep positions as it has cushioning in the top layers which cushions the shoulders and hips of side sleepers but it is more supportive underneath so that front and back sleepers do not sink in too much. This mattress has a medium spring tension as standard which will support body weights up to 16.5 stone depending on height.

All customers of a standard size mattress are covered under our 60 day love it or return it guarantee. We do ask that you use a mattress protector and give the mattress a good month or so as it can take 4 to 6 weeks for your body to adjust to the new mattress. If after this time you are not getting along with the mattress you can either send it back for a full refund or we can do a one time exchange to another mattress depending on how you found the first one. All of our mattresses and bases are handmade to order, this means that delivery can take up to 4 – 6 weeks from when we receive your order.
