DIVAN BASE WITH DRAWERS UNSUPPORTIVE

Divan bases are probably the most popular of all bed bases and can come in a variety of fabrics. Divan bases are made specifically to take the weight of mattresses and provide an even surface for you to sleep on.   
 

 
 
Divan bases can come with drawers either with 4 side drawers, 2 half & 2 full drawers which are configured so that if you have bed side tables, these will not interfere with the drawer opening or 2 side drawers which are at the foot end of the base.   
 
Having drawers in our divan bases does not make the mattress feel unsupportive as the framework is built the same way whether you have drawers in that base or not.   The base is covered with lining then also covered in a fabric of your choice from our range.
 
We make a range of divan bases with either a platform top or with springs.   A sprung divan base cushions a mattress and softens it down whereas a platform base does not have any movement within the base.
 
 
Our bed bases are compatible with all mattress types from Pocket sprung mattresses, Natural Fibre Beds, Latex and Hybrid mattress models.
The base you choose needs to be well made and will provide support for the mattress but also allows your mattress to provide you with a great nights sleep. Not all bed bases are suitable for mattresses. With slatted bases and some cheaper metal bed frames causing damage to your mattress. So it’s really important that you choose the right type of bed base or divan for your mattress.
