Latex or lay gel mattress topper
I have just purchased a new mattress which is too firm for me and the retailer doesn’t take returns.
Would I be better with a latex or lay gel topper?
I am 5ft 11 inches tall and weigh 19 stones.
Can you help as I’m having trouble sleeping.

Any new mattress tends to feel firmer than any mattress you may have tried in a showroom, because they have had time to soften. Your new mattress will soften over time and a mattress topper is the way to help soften the feel in the interim period.
The Laygel topper has a softer feel, than the Latex topper but both maybe a little more supportive, than a fibre filled style topper, which have a more cushioning effect, than the moulding feel that foam and latex toppers offer.
