what mattress is right for me

Our current mattress is beginning to give me some lower back pain and i’m looking for some guidance as to which of your current range would suit our needs. Budget is around £600-700 for mattress only and would be placed upon our existing slatted bed.
I am around 5 foot 10, and 13 stone. My partner is around 5 foot 7 and 11 stone.
Appreciate this is all a little vague, but could you provide any direction as to which in your current range (and our budget) would possibly be a good recommendation?

Thank you for your question.
We would recommend looking at our Origins Pocket 1500. This mattress comes with a medium spring tension, which is going to give you both the correct support for your body weights and comes with a medium comfort layer which means that the mattress will not be too soft nor too firm.
This mattress is generally paired with a solid base to give it that definite medium feel so going onto your existing slatted base will not be a problem. However, please check the gap between the slats and if they are more than 3 inches apart, you will need to put down a piece of MDF or Hardboard to cover those slats. If the gap between the slats is less than 3 inches, please still place a cheap duvet or blanket on top of the slats to protect the mattress.
