Please help with mattress and bed selection
I weigh 14 stone and my partner weighs 12 stone. We want a king size bed and having tried a number of them, we were settling on the benson beds pagsus igel. Reasons being it is firm (not extra firm) and has the igel to keep me cool as i can get really very hot on occasion which can leave me dripping (sorry). We want a divan with at minimum 2 drawers with ability to add a headboard. However, when reading reviews just before taking the plunge, I see they are not great on customer service and I saw a few instances of poor mattresses. Having read reviews about you, I am interested to hear your advice as to a mattress/bed combination from your range – by total budget is around 600-1000 mark but at the higher end would be looking for an included headboard for that. I have looked at the details of the Pegasus iGel mattress you refer to and confirm that we do not have any products which are comparable either in construction or feel.
Given your body weights, I would suggest that you opt for a medium feel mattress and would direct you to the Origins Pocket 1500, which will provide an overall feel and can be provided with a four drawer divan base.
