The product that you refer to is made exclusively for John Lewis by Vi-Spring, which makes providing any opinion at to quality and performance impossible. In addition, the published specification does not provide full details of the upholstery in terms of GSM (grams per square metre) or construction, which again makes providing any comparison impossible.
 
As far as establishing which model has replaced this in their current range, we would suggest contacting John Lewis or Vi-Spring directly.
