Spink and Edgar advice
We recently stayed in a holiday rental and the bed was so comfortable we asked the owner where we could buy one. This is the information they sent
I ordered it 31.01.2012 from John Lewis but I think they change the style and name quite frequently.
Anyway here are the details:
Spink and Edgar Special Item (It was a special item as they don’t normally make 165cm wide but we wanted to have as large a bed as possible given the size of the room and this was the maximum size that would fit)
Natural Luxury Egyptian Divan set
165cm wide x 200cm mattress in a medium tension.

Thanks for your question.
As you will no doubt have established, the information available in respect of construction and upholstery layers in terms of GSM (grams per square metre) is very limited and in some instances non existent for the products made by Spink & Edgar for John Lewis.
This makes making any form of comparison impossible. Having said that, it is possible to assume that the product does have natural materials in the upholstery layers, which will put it on a par, in that respect only, with our Artisan range.
We would need to know your preferred feel in the top layers to discuss suitable models as each model has a different feel in the upholstery. The natural fillings in this range are what provide a cool sleep surface, in line with the Natural collection; Ideal for anyone who identifies as a hot sleeper.
Our Artisan Luxury is the softest mattress we retail in that top layer providing a luxurious sink in sensation, our Artisan Naturals is the true medium within that range providing a slight sink but not too much and the Artisan Bespoke is the firmest mattress within that top layer providing no sink at all.
We do need to know your body weights in order to discuss suitability of spring tension;
