Sponge mattress for a yacht

Jeanette asked
31st August 2015

Hello Mike, we will be sleeping on a sponge mattress in a yacht in the tropics. We know that sponge plastic, closed cell foam is hot to sleep on and would like to source a topper that will provide extra comfort and overcomes the heat issue.
Short of resorting to the horsehair/cashmere formulae, is there a topper that you know of that will do the job?
Thanks, Jeanette

Hi Jeanette,

If you want that progressive sink feeling similar to foam but without the heat, we would recommend you look at 100% Natural Latex topper.

Natural latex is breathable removing some of the heat issues found with memory and synthetic foams.

We have one mode a 5cm topper. Given you are in the Tropics we would advise that any mattress and topper is regularly turned and rotated whilst checking for signs of humidity.
