As it is so important to try a mattress before purchase, where can we do this?

Hi Nicky,

We do state on our site that it is not necessary to try a mattress before you buy it. When you go to an outlet and try a mattress you are not told by the sales staff how long the mattress has been on display, read more here.

This information is most important because the product could have been there for anything up to six months meaning that many hundreds of people may have lay on it for up to 10 minutes each. This will have a detrimental effect of the feel of the mattress, particularly if you are trying it towards the end of its display period. Even if the mattress is comfortable when tried in store, the feel of a brand new product of the same model, is likely to feel entirely different.

Whilst we do not have a showroom where you can try our mattresses, we do offer a 60 day “love it or return it” guarantee. This should, however, not be viewed as a “try before you buy” option. We endeavour to match the product to the customer and in 96% of instances we get this spot on, which is why we are confident to offer this guarantee.

For specific advice as to the most appropriate product from our ranges, please call our office on 0161 437 4419. I trust that this helps.

Kind regards Julie
