What mattress and base should I purchase
Hi there, my osteo kindly mentioned you guys to me. I currently have a Hypnos mattress on a slatted base but am looking to change both. I suffer with a bad back, coccyxdenia and bursitus in my shoulder. I\’m on the plus size (c.17 stone) and my partner is much slimer. I really dislike soft beds and am looking for the best mattress (and base). I know that Vi-Springs have an amazing name but this is way over my budget. I\’ve only heard good things about your mattresses, but as a rule I prefer to try mattresses in show rooms. Going on what I\’ve described what would you recommend. Also are your mattresses suitable for those with allergies, asthma for example? Many thanks

Thank you for your question.
The advice given to individuals who suffer with back problems used to be to go for a firmer mattress now however, we advise the opposite. Given that you suffer with back problems i would advise that you go for something with a medium upholstery.
We compare Our Artisan range to the Vi Spring range. The Artisan Naturals is described as the ‘true medium’ of the range, this model compares to the Vi Spring Regal Superb. The Artisan Naturals contains 85% natural fibres, if you think this may cause problems for your allergies there is a company called Allersafe who make mattress encasement which would certainly take care of the problem.
The correct spring tension to support you is determined by your body weight.

We have three platform top divans. The Origins Platform Base, The Contemporary Platform Divan and The Ottoman Base. The Ottoman Base opens up for extra storage space. We also have The Artisan Base with the option of either Pocket springs or Bonnel coil.
