Hi Helen,

Thanks for your question.

Because there is a significant difference in your body weights and because of the fidgeting issue, I would recommend that you look to purchase a Zip and Link set of mattresses.

This has two advantages, the first being that you can opt for different spring tensions to suit your body weights and secondly, the separate sleeping surface means that there is less chance of disturbance if one of you moves during the night as you can’t transfer movement between the individual entities.

In order to make a suitable recommendation from our Origins or Artisan ranges we would need to know your sleeping habits, preferred and if there are any heat issues during sleep.

At your body weights you will need a dual tension of one half a Medium spring for you and the other half a Firm spring for your husband;

BodyweightSpring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kgMedium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg UpwardsFirm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call)Soft (1.2mm)

I trust this helps but if you have any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
