Which base?

Thank you for your question. The best advice I can give you is to check with your retailer or the manufacturer of your Latex mattress to see what type of base you should pair it with.
 

 
When we sold our Fusion range, which has now been discontinued, we would pair them with a platform base such as the Contemporary platform base. We would recommend a platform base that gave the mattress a uniform surface . Our Latex mattresses could go on this type of base because they were 100% natural and fully breathable and could be turned over.

 
Other manufacturers, such as Dunlopillo, recommend a slatted base so that the air can circulate around and through the mattress.
 

 
We always recommend purchasing a base or bedframe you like the look of as everything else can be tweaked. For instance, if you have a fully breathable Latex mattress such as one from Latex Sense, you could put this on a slatted bed frame which you could board over with MDF or Plywood if you wanted to give the mattress a flat stable surface.
