Hi guys, and thanks for the informative website. Question regarding the divan bases you offer: I have found that for a king size mattress most manufacturers offer two single size divan bases, because the base is rigid and heavy, and one king size divan would be impossibly difficult to move around or get into the house. However, I had a look at your king size Artisan Naturals mattress, and to me it seemed that the optional divan base is also king size and not two single divans?

Kingsize Divan bases will only come Split into two halves - either side to side or top to toe which is the most common method.
Access up the stairwell (rather than bedroom access) should hold precedent. Split side to side has more maneuverability. Split top to toe has a more aesthetic appeal.
There can be an argument that a top to toe split is more beneficial to the mattress as there is a constant run of spring edging.
On our Artisan models (Naturals / Luxury / Bespoke) all kingsize bases are split top to toe unless instructed to the contrary.
All other models utilise the side to side split. All Ziplink models obviously have a top to toe split.
