Soft mattress for a light person

A customer asked

Joy to find such an informative site, but now a little TOO informed!!

Always gone for a soft bed as I am a very slight 7 and a half stone female. Uncomfortable for a while (bed is approx. 15 years old) but suffered excruciating slipped disc some weeks ago and haven't been able to sleep in it since. Budget of £1000 - 13000 which I had thought would be a sound investment in good mattress, but after reading site wonder if part of this should go towards mattress topper?

Hope you can help feeling a little confused and desperate to stop sleeping on the sofa!!

Hi Marg, I

Thanks for getting in touch.

Your sleeping habits/personal preference will then determine how you would like the mattress to feel in the comfort layers. This is where you will achieve the feel you are looking for (soft/medium/firm). Do you know if you have a preference for a soft, medium or firm?

If you do not, I would advise to go out and try the;
Vispring Devonshire - Soft in upper layers - Comparable with the Artisan Luxury
Vispring Regal Superb - True medium in upper layers - Comparable with Artisan Bespoke 004
Vispring Herald - Firm in the upper layers - Comparable with the Artisan Bespoke

This is then to be paired with the right spring tension based on your body weight

I hope that helps and if you have any further questions please get back in touch on 0161 437 4419 or info@localhost.

If you want further help it maybe best t give us a call and we can go through the specifics such as the comfort feel you require and any other specifics.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Regards Mike.
