Ankolysing Spondylitis and mattresses?
My husband and I favour a really soft mattress.
My husband is quite a lot heavier than me and when he moves in the night I am disturbed and when he gets out of bed I am tipped sideways.
Needless to say my sleeping is suffering.
The mattress we have now is lovely if you are sleeping alone - all marshmallowy.
But it has developed a hump in the middle (which we refer to as the 'dead man') so we really need to do something about it.
I want to keep our lovely cast iron 5' bedframe so am considering two zipped 2'6" mattresses.
We had two zipped mattresses many years ago but they were rock hard and my husband who suffers from ankylosing spondylitis had a miserable time.
I am assuming technology has moved on.
Please advise.

Hi Sue,
Thank you for your question.
Sorry to hear you're having issues with your current mattress.
You're right in thinking that a zip and link will reduce considerably the transference from a more 'lively' sleeper.
I'd need to know your weights and heights to properly advise but our softest zip and link to give you the feel I think you're looking for is the Artisan Luxury.

I had this mattress a while back and loved its old fashion super soft top layers. You get a really nice sink and hug from it.
The zip and link version will also remove the issue with the dead man in the middle.
Could you please telephone our office for further information and advice and also to provide us with the above information.
Kind regards Julie
