Hello
Are your "origins" mattresses suitable to be used in a wall bed ( where they will be stored on their side)?
I am planning on getting the wall bed from wallbeds direct ( solid metal base with small performations), They have told me that the wall beds can cope with 40 - 50 kg weight

Hi Roslind,
The Origins Pocket 1500 double is 42kg, a king is 49kg, so both fall within the weight range you have provided. These products are made to be placed on a platform base and although the base of your wall bed may be suitable, I would not like to store this or any of our products on their side for daytime storage as this may have a detrimental effect on the fillings and the sides. Do you know if the bed manufacturer makes a mattress specifically for this base as that would be your best option?
