You query is one of the most common that we receive. The mattress we usually recommend from our range for holiday lets and B&Bs is the Origins Pocket Reflex 1000. This is because this mattress is suited to a wide range of body weights and will provide comfort and support for your guests. In the last few years we have had a number of customers who have visited B&Bs to whom we have supplied this product requesting the same mattress for their home use, which we view as a very positive endorsement of our assertion in respect of suitability.

If you have restricted height in the room, you can opt for bases ranging from 6 inches up,  at 2 inch increments, but you must bear in mind that you will need to add 2 inches for the castors/glides. In addition,  these mattresses are approximately 12 inches thick so for example,  a 6 inch base with 2 inch castors and a 12 inch mattress will mean you need at least 20 inches and then enough room for people to get in and out of bed.
