Thanks for getting in touch with us, and I can speak from experience that the Artisan Luxury is a great soft feel 100% natural fibre mattress. I had one for a few years and loved it before I defected to Latex after a skiing injury and I needed a slightly more responsive less sink mattress!
 
We pair our Artisan Luxury with our sprung edge divan base, these are available within the product in our shop. They come with Shepherd castors and can be chosen with a 2 drawer configuration.
 
The specifics of the base are also here for ease:
 
If drawers are added then the base height will be 13″ plus 2″ for Shepherd Castors making 15″ in total. The drawers on the Artisan bases are 32″ wide, 20″ deep and 9″ high. 

Spring edging can be looked upon as a mini mattress between the main mattress and the base. It offers a progressive support that dampens the strain of weight from the user. This significantly improves the overall comfort level of a mattress.
