Hi Linda,

I am afraid that there are no products on the market at present made in the way you require. Previous medical advice for people who suffer from a bad back was to opt for a firm mattress. Current advice now tends to contradict this with organisations such as the Institute of Chiropractors suggesting that what is required is an appropriate spring tension to support specific body weights and comfort to be provided by the upholstery layers. Based upon this new advice, I wonder whether the mattress you have is, in fact, the right tension. Under 9 stone should go for soft, 10 stone to 17 stone should be medium and over 17 stone ought to be firm.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

If you retain the firm mattress, it may be that you will have to purchase a single size topper to apply to your side only. Kind regards.
