What is your view on the Loaf Top Dog mattresss? We have a budget of just under £1000 for our first proper mattress and would be interested in your thoughts?

Thanks for getting in touch. I have had a quick look at the mattress to see if I can do a comparison/review for you. Unfortunately other than the mattress-guide they don't list any specifics about what's in the mattress. Read this article to help you understand what you should be looking for when making comparisons.
However one of our intrepid mattress geeks spoke to Loaf and they spilt the beans on what's in their Top Dog mattress.
You really need to understand what's inside the mattress and the weights and quantities that are being used, known as GSM. Then you will be able to see if its value for money.
