Good vi-spring style mattress for a furl ottoman bed

I am searching for a good mattress to go with a recently purchased Furl ottoman bed. I would prefer to spend less than £1000 but would pay more for the right one. I am 8stone 5ft 4. I don't like sinking into a bottomless soft mattress, so would normally be looking at a medium - one which is well cushioned but with good support. I have tried all in JL's special purchase range and quite like their higher end natural collection and the expensive Chatsworth Vispring!
Oddly, one of the most comfortable mattresses i have slept on (for 2 nights) was at a b and b. It was from hotelcontractbeds (the monarch mattress) which normally costs just under £400!

Thanks for getting in touch. The Chatsworth is a medium feel mattress using both horsehair and fleece wool and cotton. We don't have an exact like for like comparison but given budget and construction method have a look at our Artisan Naturals in a medium tension. As for the hotelcontractbeds, one thing to bear in mind is that these styles of mattresses are made to last a very short period of time. As hotels should be changing their beds frequently. So when you stay in a hotel the beds are often quite soft, due to toppers and also the amount of hammering they get. In real life sleeping on such a soft mattress would probably cause back ache over time. So we would bear this in mind!
