King size mattresses

I am looking for a king size mattress 150cm x 198cm as the bed we have is an oak slatted base typeI am having difficulty finding any good quality with these dimensions. Do you think the standard 200cm length mattress could be squeezed into our bed frame?Thank you.Mrs A Thomson

Thank you for your enquiry.
A standard UK king size mattress measures 152cm x 198cm, however, there is a degree of tolerance in this size meaning that it could be 1-2cm on either dimension.
We would advise against squeezing a mattress of a greater length into your frame as this may ultimately damage the mattress.
