The turning of a new mattress.

All two sided mattresses should be turned and rotated regularly. John Ryan mattresses have substantial layers of upholstery and filling and need turning to ensure even settlement across the entire surface of the bed.

I would recommend that you rotate your Artisan Naturals mattress 180 degrees and turn it completely over once a month for the first year and every 2-3 months onward.

If not turned regularly indents will form in the sleeping area. It is recommended that two people turn the mattress as they are very heavy.
