Thanks for your comment about split tension mattresses. This is where each side is a different spring tension with the following two combinations available.

• Medium-Soft
• Medium-Firm

They are available in kingsize mattresses and above.

It's important that you choose the correct spring tension based on your body weight and not mattress comfort. The comfort is provided by the upholstery, not the pocket spring unit.

If you and your partner are in different weight ranges this is where a split tension or zip and link comes into play to ensure you both get the ideal support. Rather than compromising on your mattress choice.

if you're looking for a soft-firm split then these are only available in a zip and link mattress model that has additional central support to accommodate the two very different tensions.
