Our Ottoman bed base is our sturdiest base due to the construction using 800 newton gas struts and Canadian Spruce.

As such, it can hold a mattress weight up to 85kg. The Artisan 1500 Small Double comes in weighing roughly 43kg so will suit and support the mattress fine.

The Artisan 1500 is our second firmest mattress and the solid top base on the Ottoman will simply firm up the feel of the mattress further.
