Apologies if you found the information confusing, I will try and clarify it further for you. The two mattresses in a super king size zip and link when placed together make an overall size of 6 feet wide and 6 feet 6 inches long. I think the confusion arises where we refer to bed frames. All naturally filled mattresses will settle over time and if the frame only has an area exactly 6 feet x  6 feet 6 inches for the mattress to sit in,  when the mattresses settle, they will be very slightly bigger and therefore may ridge in the middle because they are forced into the frame. If using a divan base, the settlement is not as noticeable.
