Best mattress topper for a soft bed

Mattress toppers are used primarily to provide an extra layer of comfort (softness) on a mattress which may be feeling too firm, they cannot usually be used to make a mattress firmer. You could look at a Company called Soak & Sleep as they sell toppers which are made to give a mattress a firmer support.

Without knowledge of your body weight(s) we are unable to confirm whether you have the correct spring tension. If you are unable to return or exchange your Vi-Spring mattress, it may well be worth placing MDF (8-10mm) boarding on top of the base, under the mattress and this will make the mattress feel slightly firmer. Alternatively, you could look at buying a platform topped base rather than the sprung base, which we assume you have at present.
