Do you know that Breasley Salus and Simba mattresses do not meet the flammability performance requirements of Schedule 1 Part I of
the Furniture & Furnishings (Fire)(Safety Regulations 1988 (and subsequent amendments)

Hi Joe,

Thanks for getting in touch about mattress fire retardancy.

Wow, we are really interested in this point and where you've found this out from? We would love to find the source of this information if Simba and Breasley are indeed not meeting the fire retardant regulations here in the UK. We very much doubt it, but if you can reveal your source that would be really helpful to investigate.

You can read all about mattress fire retardancy methods here on our website. We have recently moved to a Plant-Based fire retardancy method for all of our Artisan Ranges meaning they are chemical-free. As you will know all mattresses must meet fire retardancy criteria here in the UK without it they are illegal to sell to the public.

We look forward to hearing back from you!

All the best
John & Ryan
