Can I use a latex mattress with a slatted base?

Hi, you mention that slatted bed bases are not advised to use with foam mattresses, what about latex mattresses?
I'm looking for an Ottoman base but want to buy a latex mattress.

Hi Kathryn, We advise all slatted bases are boarded over for foam as over time latex and foam mattresses can conform to the gaps. So we would advise you do board over the slats. Regular mattress turning and rotating will remove any issue with breathability etc of the mattress after boarding over. Hope that helps Kathryn. Lee
