Comparison to Hypnos Orthos Cashmere mattress
Hi guys, excellent website!
After some research we have selected the Hypnos Orthos Cashmere Kingsize as our perfect mattress but the price tag is what is holding us back. Can you recommend something that is similar/almost identical - perhaps one of your own?
Would be very grateful. Having constant back problems, and after just been on our hols and slept mostly in Premier Inn their hypnos mattresses gave me the perfect night's sleep - having contacted Hypnos they said the orthos range was the closest - just so you know how we arrived at this choice. We've tested the 3 spring turns (6, 8 and 10) and the firmness was ideal - but preferred the 10 as it was a little softer. >
Hi Chris.
In all fairness to Hypnos this is not overly priced (around £750).
It makes sense that if this is the mattress you were happy sleeping on it should be the one you get.
The specification is a bit scrimpy on detail with just "..Cashmere and Wool Filling with eOlus fibre" as the main description of upholstery content.
eOlus fibre is polyester based and is a term used solely by Hypnos - therefore without knowing any pertinent detail becomes impossible to offer any alternative models.
It would be good if you could find out the GSM of the Cashmere and Wool blend and also the GSM of the fibre.
Please let us know if you find anything out and we will be able to comment further.
John and Ryan.
