Creaky divans and latex allergy

Hi. We're almost at the point of ordering from you but just have 2 doubts. My wife is a former nurse who found she had a latex allergy when in direct contact through surgical gloves. We, of course, realise that she won't be in direct contact with the latex in a mattress but what are the risks? Furthermore, our existing divan was a budget one and creaks like mad when either of us even sit on the side to get in or out, meaning that we wake each other if we have to get out of bed in the night. How are your divans in this respect. Thanks.
Hi Chris,
Allergies are a really tricky one. If you know you are allergic to something we always advise you avoid it. We would never recommend someone sleeps on a surface they have an allergy to, it's not worth the risk.
As for our bases, they are all hand made in the UK and don't creak. It sounds like your base may be coming to the end of its life or has loose components somewhere.
