Do I need to flip mattress?

We have an artisan naturals mattress, we rotate it regularly but can it be turned?

Hi Julia,
Thank you for your email. The Artisan Naturals is a two-sided mattress that requires turning over so that the underside becomes the sleep surface once a month for the first twelve months and then every two to three months thereafter.

Since you have been sleeping on the same side for 7 years, please turn the mattress over, as the underside will still be new. You should sleep on this side for at least a year before flipping the mattress back. Please continue to rotate the mattress during this time.

Once you have even upholstery layers on each side of the mattress you could turn the mattress over every few months, north to south one time and then east to west the next. By alternating these you do not need to rotate the mattress.
