Do you have advice on ottoman beds?

Hi, I am interested in purchasing an ottoman bed, I need the storage. I want to get the bed first to try with my current mattress, but i am pretty sure I need to replace both and will be looking at the origins 1500 pocket latex here. Do you have any advice as to what to look for in ottoman beds before i do so?
Anything I need to avoid?

Thanks for your question.
The main thing to look for with an Ottoman is the gas struts used in the construction as well as how the Ottoman actually opens (Side to Side or Bottom to Top).
Our Ottoman base is now constructed using 800 newton gas struts, which will take a little bit of a push to begin with and then the struts will take over the lift.
Our Ottoman's open from Bottom to Top, which puts less strain on the mattress as well as being constructed using Canadian Spruce; Our sturdiest base overall.
Our Ottoman is also a solid top base giving any mattress that goes on top of it a slightly firmer feel.
