I am sorry to have to say that cases such as your's are precisely why we do not make nor recommend mattresses with a pillow top.

Additionally, because these products are one sided, they cannot be turned to provide you with some temporary respite from the sagging.

Have you approached the retailer for their comments and asked them to offer a solution as the product is less than 8 months old and may still have some warranty attached?.

If they are reluctant to put forward a solution, you may need to approach the Furniture Ombudsman to see if they can offer any help.

If the store are not responsive and you do not want to go down the Ombudsman route, as this will take time, there are very few options left open to you, one is to go for a completely new mattress without a pillow top and if necessary purchase a separate topper or alternatively, you could try placing some board under the mattress to try and firm up that sinking sand feeling.

I personally, would go for the first option, although I do appreciate that you may have already spent a considerable sum of money on the failed product you have at present and so the second option may provide the most economic solution in the short term.

The truth is that at some point in the not too distant future you are going to have to replace the mattress.
