A customer asked

Hi, I need a new double mattress - I don't like the heat produced by memory foam/latex - any helpful suggestions?

I have a fairly tight budget (£350.00ish), weight 10 stone. Really helpful site - thank you regards, Tahlecion. .

Hi Tahlecion,

Thank you for your question.

Please consider our Origins Comfort 1000 mattress which has a medium spring tension for the support and softer top layers to give you comfort.

This mattress contains :-

John Ryan By Design Origins Comfort
1 750gsm Very Soft Polyester
2 500gsm Polyester Pad
3 One Inch Foam Insulator Layer
4 1000 Spun Bond Pocket Springs

The Origins Comfort is supportive to a level at what we would class as a ‘true medium’ based on an average bodyweight. Not too firm and not too soft. Saying that, this is the softest mattress we do make using different densities of polyester in the comfort layer. To build softer at this price could only mean a reduction in fillings.

We believe that you will not be able to find a better built and finished mattress for same or less than this.

This model has a full 2 year guarantee.

I hope the above is of assistance to you but please do not hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419 for further information/advice.

Kind regards Julie
