Help and Advice on ViSpring Squeeky Mattress

Hi,

I bought a new Vispring Regal Superb (Medium) Mattress purchased In Dec 2019 with Spring Base Vispring Prestige
I am normally like a firm mattress and found the medium mattress a bit on the soft side. (Personal Experience). After couple of months, I spoke to the dealer and ask them to change the mattress to Firm so they changed it with admin fee etc.

Problem with vispring mattress:
Since the new firm Vispring mattress arrived, I am hearing bubble/spring pop sounds (I will try to record it) when I lay down, twist and turn on it or change my position on it. It’s not always the case but mostly. After pressing a couple of time the sound disappears,
Whilst lying on the mattress if I put more pressure on a section (different areas), I hear a springy sound as well. Same here after hearing light spring sound, I can not always re create it by pressing at the same section

My questions, is it normal? (did not experience with medium one) I wanted to have some feedback before I talk to the supplier. I did give it 3-4 months now to break into the mattress.

Any feedback much appreciated.

Hi Shan,

Many thanks for your question about vispring mattresses which we have compared to for many years due to their high quality.

It's very rare to hear of a squeeky / pop sound with a new mattress and it usually signifies there may be something not quite right inside the mattress. Given you had the medium tension Regal Superb with no issues it sounds like there may be something that's been wrongly placed inside the mattress.

Popping and squeaking in a mattress can be down to a misaligned pocket spring. We have heard of one of the entry-level mattress makers leaving in protective plastic wrapping, finding its way in between the layers of mattress upholstery. Causing a crunching and popping sound. Ie a layer or materials has found its way in by accident. Hence the popping sound as it extends and then contracts between the fibres.

We would definitely advise you get in touch with Vispring with as much evidence and detail as possible. They should be able to send out an inspector to see what's going on with the mattress.

We hope that helps and all the best in getting your Vispring mattress issue sorted.
All the best
John & Ryan
