How can latex get any more confusing?

A customer asked

I have found your website enlightening on the subject of latex and it's many forms, so much so you are top of my selection list...however...
You say...
"Dunlopillo is credited somewhat to be the market leaders in latex mattresses but in recent times, they don’t disclose the blend of their latex leaving it open to scrutiny. "
Dunlopillo Say...
"Our Dunlopillo mattresses are 100% pure latex. Natural Latex is a wonderful material derived from the sap of rubber trees (Hevea Brasiliensis) grown in managed sustainable plantations around the world."
I say
" Who do I believe?"

Good Afternoon titch,

Thank you for your question.

In regards to this, the direct quotation doesn't state that it is 100% Natural Latex, it simply states pure latex. With this it doesn't disclose what mix / blend of latex it is.

Dunlop and Talalay is the method of creation and Talalay is generally softer whereas Dunlop is firmer.

A lot of manufacturers don't fully disclose construction methods so I'd always stand by our statement regarding Dunlopillo as they still don't fully disclose the blend accurately here.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries then please don't hesitate to contact me on 0161 437 4419. Our office is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

Kind Regards, Lee.
