Is an Artisan Bespoke mattress too firm for a side sleeper

I like a firm mattress, I find futons quite comfortable, but am a side sleeper and sometimes get hip pain due to most firm mattresses being firm because of spring tension rather than the padding/comfort layer. At 5"10 / 15 stone will an artisan bespoke (medium tension) be too firm? I don't like the comfort layer to be too sinky and the mattress will be on a solid base if that helps.
