John Lewis divan suitable for a bed stead?

Hi,
We have a Victorian bedstead double size. We bought a mattress and divan set from John Lewis. The base/divan is only about 4inches thick and sits directly on top of the bedstead . We wish to replace both mattress and base and we are struggling to find a base: a trip to John Lewis revealed that all the bases are now really thick and it would require us leaping into bed if we had one of those. Do you have any advice?

Hi Theresa,
Unfortunately, it is likely to be impossible to find a quality base in the size you require.
Our Artisan bases can be made from 6 inches upwards and I would suggest that this is likely to be the lowest you could find in the market.
