Latex mattress edge compression

We own a 100 percent latex mattress. One side compresses far more than the other side when sitting on it. Also when my husband and I are in bed a hump appears in the middle and he is sleeping lower tha I. He cannot roll over because of the hump. HELP! He rolled right out of bed onto the floor the other night!

It is difficult to provide an opinion as to why you have the problems you have without knowledge of the model concerned, your body weights and what type of solid base it is, slatted or platform. A sprung slatted base has been known to cause a hump in the middle of the mattress due to the way the base is constructed. In addition, what size is it?, as if it is king or bigger, the hump may appear as the central part of the mattress does not get any use.
