Lusting after a Vi spring mattress

Hello - my husband and I have had the same divan bed and mattress for about 10 years. It's fine but everytime we stay somewhere that has a Vi-Spring bed we lust after one however the cost puts us off. I am 5' 3" and weight about 9 and 1/2 stone and my husband is 5' 11" and weighs about 12 stone. We both like a reasonably firm mattress (though not rock hard) and are after a divan again. Iv'e looked at the Artisan Naturals which sounds great. As it's an online purchase it's impossible to know if it's right for us. Do you advise people to visit bed places and see what suits them first?

The Artisan Naturals mattress has a similar feel to the Vi Spring Regal Superb. The mattress has 85% natural fillings and gives an overall medium comfort meaning that the mattress is neither too soft nor too firm.
At your body weights, you both require a medium spring tension which will give you the support that you both require.

We pair our Artisan Range of mattresses with a sprung divan base as these type of bases offer good suspension for the mattress. However they can go on to a slatted/solid base as all it will do will firm the mattress up slightly.
