As the bed you require is for a guest room and you are on a budget, I would recommend the Origins Comfort 1000 mattress which although is stated on our website as being a soft mattress, is only slightly softer than the Origins Pocket 1500 which has a medium feel from the top layers.  This Origins Comfort 1000 retails at £505 for a double mattress.   A mattress and no drawer base is priced at £690.00.  
 
All the mattresses in the Origins range come with a medium spring tension for the support which is adequate for body weights of between 8st - 17st.   As with any mattress, the heavier the person, the softer the overall feel will be.
