Replacing half a ziplock king size mattress

We purchased a king size bed with 2 mattresses of different firmness (not from you) . My husband cannot get comfortable in his firm side so we want to replace his mattress. We have been told we need to buy 2 new mattresses even though I am happy with my side. Can we get a single ziplock to replace one half of a king size bed?
