Hi, after 13 years on a Relyon Connoisseur 2870 (firm) pocket sprung bed its time for us to change. The current mattress is a super king on a spring base.
I'm 5'10 and 13st and my wife is 5'6 and around 9st.
We have been looking at Somnus and John Lewis Natural collection. We were put off the Somnus beds as the top of the range Zenith, which we liked the feel of in firm, actually looked liked it was already sagging at the middle on one side in the showroom.
We liked the feel of The JL Natural British Fleece Wool 7000 in medium too.
Our preference would be for a rotate rather than a turn over mattress (all though this would be weight dependant) as we both suffer from bad backs.
Not sure if we would need to replace the base as well as the mattress appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.
