Both the Origins products you refer to have the same medium tension spring unit which will give you the correct support for your body weights, with the Origins Comfort 1000 having softer man made upholstery layers and the Origins Pocket 1500 having upholstery which provides an overall medium feel. Of the two, we would suggest that the Origins Comfort 1000 is more likely to provide the correct level of support and comfort for you both.

The Artisan range has natural upholstery as opposed to man made upholstery in the Origins range and as a consequence command a higher retail price. The Artisan range has natural upholstery and longer guarantees than the Origins range and we would expect those products to last longer, it really is a matter for you based upon your budget. Having said that, if you are looking for a long term replacement, we would suggest the Artisan range. Please view the Artisan Naturals, which is the best selling product in that range as detailed at the foot of this response.
