This mattress is covered in our white woven 100% Viscose ?

I do not understand why a 100% natural mattress is covered with non natural viscose fabric. Why do you use viscose?
In the answer to a similar question it says there is a 60/40 split damask/viscose - that is not what is stated on the item detail page which specifies "This mattress is covered in our white woven 100% Viscose with subtle John Ryan design". This applies to the 85% natural and 100% natural mattress models.

Thanks for your question.
We use 100% Viscose for the cover of our Artisan mattresses, as do lots of other mattress manufacturers, even Vi spring who create the comparison models that we say feel similar to our Artisan range, because it is extremely hard wearing, and very breathable which works really well for a mattress cover.
Even when mattress covers mention cotton or linen, a lot of the time it will be a viscose mix, with the majority being viscose.
