There are many different types of mattress topper from foam toppers, natural fibre and latex mattress toppers. A topper is used to increase the comfort layers of a mattress so will only ever soften a mattress not firm it up.

As you have a Futon mattress, you would be best with a topper that contains fibres as these will soften down the mattress providing an extra layer of comfort as Futon mattresses are very firm in comfort.

You can source mattress toppers from many different Companies such as Soak & Sleep or Cuddledown.   We also sell mattress toppers but these are made of either Foam or latex
